jacksons creek biik wurrdha regional parklands

Jacksons Creek biik wurrdha Regional Parklands will span over 1,000 hectares in Sunbury. The Parklands Plan, sets out principles and directions for the progressive establishment and management of the parklands. The plan responds to the critical need to protect and enhance biodiversity and cultural heritage, mitigate climate change, and contribute to improved community health and wellbeing. The Parklands Plan was developed in a partnership between the Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA, formerly Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning), Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation (WWCHAC), Parks Victoria, Hume City Council, Melbourne Water, and Greater Western Water.
