FFLA lead the design of a $2.6M streetscape renewal project in Sunshine.  The Dawson Street precinct sits behind Hampshire Road (Sunshine’s main street) and contains commercial land uses, at-grade parking and the Sunshine Leisure Centre. The project creates a new public realm structure for the site that will serve the precinct well in the long term, creating an attractive pedestrian precinct and accommodating change and development. Recent changes have included the construction of a multi-deck car park, for which FFLA provided design & documentation services. FFLA worked closely with project team to maximise Water Sensitive Design outcomes including the reintroduction of the former waterway which passed through the site.
