rosalind park precinct master plan & management plan

FFLA led a team working with the City of Greater Bendigo to deliver a master plan and management plan for the 34 hectare Rosalind Park Precinct in central Bendigo. Located directly north of the Bendigo CBD, it is an open space which is part of the towns identity that incorporates numerous user groups and stakeholders, including a multiple sporting clubs and two schools. The precinct also houses an impressive array of heritage buildings and landscapes. The master plan addresses the competing demands on the site associated with these existing uses, as well as taking into account changes underway, including the redevelopment of the hospital, the redevelopment of the former jail on the site into a theatre complex, and the extension of the Bendigo Art Gallery.  Extensive consultation was a feature of the project including more than 20 face-to-face meetings with key individuals and stakeholder groups, public drop-in sessions and workshops. Master plan concepts have been communicated to the community with high quality visualisations.
