FFLA prepared a Landscape Master Plan to guide the future direction of Mills Beach, Mornington. The project area includes two existing informal car parks, the area around the Mornington Life Saving Club and the Tanti Creek environs. The area is a popular destination for residents and tourists. Seasonal demands and the growth in the resident population has placed increased pressure on existing facilities. The Master Plan proposes improved pedestrian circulation including resolution of equitable access between the main parking area, the public toilet and the front of the Mornington Surf Life Saving Club. Car park areas have been redesigned to more efficiently provide parking as well as improving access for emergency and maintenance vehicles.
