FFLA worked with Yarra City Council to design and document an upgrade to the park, addressing concerns that the space was uninviting and under-used. The upgrade works sought to add colour and interest to the space, giving it character and a stronger sense of identity. The functional works included providing new seating, access paths and improving the setting of the existing retained play ground. The design incorporated the salvage and re-use of paving bricks on the site that were supplemented by colourful glazed bricks.
